What is CardioThoraxia?

CardioThoraxia is a professional literature search tool designed for cardiothoracic surgeons, trainees, and researchers. It provides a guided, topic-based interface for building precise PubMed searches without requiring manual query syntax.

The app retrieves publicly available bibliographic data from PubMed.

Using the App

• Add one or more topics to define the focus of your search
• Choose whether all topics must match (AND) or any topic may match (OR)
• Optionally refine your search using Advanced Search
• View article abstracts and open results directly in PubMed
